Planet Clicker 2: Play Free Online and Reach All Six Worlds (2026)

Planet Clicker 2 is a free idle game that runs in your browser. You click a planet to make energy, spend that energy on machines that make it for you, and keep going until you can afford the next world. Six worlds, 36 machines, one shared leaderboard.

  • 100% Free

  • No Ads
  • Works on Any Device

Quick answer: Click the planet. Buy a Kinetic Tap at 15 energy to double your clicks, then a Campfire at 60 to start earning hands-free. After that, always buy whatever card shows the shortest payback time. Mars opens at 350 thousand energy, which most players reach in under fifteen minutes.

What Is Planet Clicker 2?

Planet Clicker 2 is a browser-based idle clicker game where energy is the only currency. You earn it by clicking, then spend it on machines that keep earning while your hands sit still. That loop never changes. What changes is the size of the numbers, which run from single digits to sextillions over about four days of play.

The first game planet clicker had three worlds and one shop, and plenty of people finished it in an evening. This one is built for the players who wanted somewhere to go afterwards. Three things are worth knowing before you start.

What Is Planet Clicker 2

Nothing costs money. No ads on the loading screen, none between worlds, and no reward button hiding one.

Your machines run while the tab is shut. Close the browser, come back tomorrow, and the energy is already banked.

Your score cannot go down. The leaderboard ranks lifetime energy. Spending does not touch it, and neither does starting over.

The rising prices are the change that matters most day to day. In the first game you could pick the best item once and buy it forever. Here, the item you bought ten times is no longer the item you should buy next.

How to Play Planet Clicker 2

Click the planet. That really is the whole tutorial.

Before that, the game asks for a commander name. It goes on the leaderboard, and you cannot change it later without wiping your save, so spend a second on it.

How to Play Planet Clicker 2

Your First Two Minutes

The opening is fixed and worth doing in order.

  1. Click the planet. Your first click is worth 1 energy, so fifteen clicks gets you the first purchase.
  2. Buy the Kinetic Tap at 15 energy. It doubles every click, so the next fifteen take half as long.
  3. Buy a Campfire at 60 energy. The first machine that earns without you. From here the counter moves on its own.
  4. Keep buying whatever pays back fastest. That one rule carries you to Neptune.

Most players own a working machine about thirteen seconds in. Our Planet Clicker 2 beginner tips break the buying order down purchase by purchase.

The One Number That Decides Every Purchase

Every card in the shop prints a payback time. That is how long the machine needs to run before it has earned back what you paid for it. Lower is better, and it is the only number you need.

Here is why it beats reading prices. Say one machine costs 90,000 and pays back in 40 seconds, and another costs 380,000 and pays back in 70. The expensive one makes far more per second, so it looks like the upgrade. It is not. Four copies of the cheap one cost less, pay back faster, and leave you change.

Why this matters: the game does this maths for you and prints the answer on the card in yellow. Most players never look and buy by price instead, which is the biggest reason a run stalls.

Prices Climb, So the Best Buy Keeps Moving

Every copy you buy of a machine makes the next copy dearer. Nothing else in the shop changes price.

So your best buy is a moving target. Stack ten Campfires and the eleventh has quietly become poor value, while the machine below it is now the obvious pick. Buy in small batches, then check the payback column again.

All Six Worlds, What They Cost and What They Sell

Each world costs energy to colonise and sells its own six machines. You keep everything you have already built. A Campfire on Earth keeps burning whether you are standing on Earth or out at Neptune.

Neptune6.3 sextillionx1400Wind Harvester, Diamond Rain Collector, Deep Pressure Core, Triton Cryo Plant, Singularity Tap, Void Lattice

Look at the jump from Mars to Venus. Three hundred and fifty thousand to four billion is not the next rung on a ladder, it is a different ladder. That pattern repeats at every border.

Two Multipliers, and People Mix Them Up

Click power is the big number in the table above. It multiplies what your finger is worth and nothing else. Landing on Mars makes each click four times better, which is why the opening minutes on a new world feel fast and then level off once machines take over again.

The home world bonus is a separate flat x2.5 on machines built on whichever world you are currently standing on.

That second rule is small on purpose. It keeps choosing a world a real decision rather than a formality. Nine times out of ten you want your newest world, because that is where your recent spending went. Now and then, if you went deep on Saturn and only just reached Neptune, the maths says go home for a while.

The Lattices Are the Best Purchase in the Game

Every world after Earth sells a lattice. Red on Mars, Gold on Venus, Storm on Jupiter, Ice on Saturn, Void on Neptune.

A lattice produces nothing by itself. It multiplies everything you already produce, across every world, including machines you bought hours ago and forgot about. They cap at ten levels each and they are painfully expensive. Buy them anyway. A multiplier on your whole empire beats more output from one machine every time, and the gap widens the further you get.

Rebirth and Dark Matter Explained

Somewhere around your first billion lifetime energy, the Rebirth tab stops being greyed out and starts offering you a number.

A rebirth puts you back on a bare Earth. Your energy, every machine and every world you opened all go. In exchange you bank Dark Matter, and every point adds a permanent 2% to everything you produce, in every run you will ever play.

Rebirth and Dark Matter Explained

What Survives

Four things come through untouched: your lifetime energy, which is your leaderboard score; your awards and the bonus they carry; your comet count; and your Dark Matter, which is the entire point. Nothing here punishes you for pressing reset.

The Rule Most Players Get Wrong

Dark Matter is paid on your all-time energy, not on the run you are about to throw away.

That one sentence changes how the mechanic is played. You cannot build a strong empire, rebirth, rebuild it, and cash the same energy in twice. The payout only moves when you push past your own record. It is a trade you make when the permanent bonus is worth more than the empire you are giving up.

The curve is a fourth root, so doubling your Dark Matter costs sixteen times the energy. Early rebirths come every few hours. Later ones are a weekend project.

When should you first rebirth? Around 25 Dark Matter is a sensible first target, because that is a standing +50% on everything. Rebirthing for one or two points throws away a whole build for a rounding error, and it is the most common early mistake in the game.

Comets: 45 Seconds Worth Planning For

Every minute or two a comet crosses the sky. Click it and everything you produce is multiplied by seven for the next 45 seconds.

It sits on screen for eleven seconds, then leaves. It does not queue up and it never appears while the game is paused or the tab is in the background, so you cannot bank a pile by walking away.

Here is the part most people miss. The best use of a comet is not clicking harder during it. It is having saved for something expensive beforehand and buying it on the far side, so the x7 lands on your new production instead of your old.

Awards: 49 Small Bonuses That Add Up

There are 49 awards, and each adds a permanent 1% to production. Collect them all and that is a standing +49% on everything, stacked on top of whatever your Dark Matter is paying.

Awards 49 Small Bonuses That Add Up

They are not decorations. Most cover things you were going to do anyway: energy thresholds, click counts, owning a hundred of something, reaching each world. The Awards tab shows locked ones with their conditions visible, so you can read exactly what is still out there instead of guessing. Two or three are usually one small detour away, and like Dark Matter they survive a rebirth.

Does Planet Clicker 2 Earn Energy Offline?

Yes. Close the tab, close the browser, put the phone in a drawer. Your machines keep running.

When you come back, the game tells you what they made: how long you were gone, what your rate was, and the energy waiting for you. There is nothing to claim and no video to sit through.

Offline production is capped at twelve hours. That covers the case it exists for, which is shutting the laptop at night and opening it after breakfast. Come back after three days and you are still paid for twelve, and the game says so rather than leaving you to wonder why the number looks small.

Two things do not accrue while you are away: clicking, for obvious reasons, and the comet bonus, because a comet has to be caught. The pause button is the deliberate exception. Hiding the tab is credited. Pressing pause is not.

Tip: stepping away for the night? Close the tab rather than pausing. Twelve hours of production is a large slice of an early run, and pause hands you nothing.

The Global Leaderboard and Why Cheats Do Not Work

Every player sits on one global leaderboard, ranked by lifetime energy generated. Spending never lowers your score. Neither does rebirthing. The number only climbs, which makes it a fair measure of what you have produced rather than how recently you saved up.

You can edit your own save. It lives in your browser. The server will not accept the result.

The Global Leaderboard

Scores are checked server-side using the same formulas the game runs, from the same file. Every submission is tested four ways. Is the save coherent? Has the score gone backwards? Could the machines claimed have been paid for out of the energy claimed? And was the jump since your last submission possible for the production you own?

That last check is generous on purpose. It assumes you had a comet running the whole time and were clicking at an inhuman rate throughout. Anything above that ceiling is a fabricated save, and it is refused. The same goes for an auto clicker. Clicking moves your opening minutes and barely touches the endgame. Machines carry a real score. A script does not.

Play Free, With No Download and No Codes

There is nothing to install. Planet Clicker 2 runs entirely in the browser, so there is no APK, no PC build, no store page and no repository to hunt down. No account, no email, no password. Pick a commander name and you are in.

A few things worth knowing before you commit an evening:

  • The save lives in your browser. Clearing your browsing data removes it, and so does the delete button. Nothing else will.
  • It works properly on a phone. One column, the shop as a bottom sheet, every target sized for a thumb.
  • Delete means delete. The Stats tab removes your save, your server record and your username, and the name goes back into the pool immediately.
  • Keyboard and screen reader support is built in. Every control is reachable by tab and the planet responds to Enter or Space. If your system asks for reduced motion, the game stops animating and keeps working.

Can You Play Planet Clicker 2 Unblocked at School?

The game needs nothing installed and runs in any modern browser, including a school Chromebook. No install step, no plugin.

What stops you is the network, not the game. Filters block whole domains, so if the host is on the list it will not load, and that is your network administrator's decision. Plan for one thing: your save lives in that browser on that machine, so a run built on a school laptop will not follow you home.

Are There Planet Clicker 2 Codes?

No. There is no code box and nothing to redeem.

The question comes up constantly because a different game shares the name on a user-created games platform, and that one does have codes and skins. Several pages answer it by inventing codes for this game. There are none, and any list claiming otherwise is describing something else. Our guide to every Planet Clicker version sorts out which game is which in about ten seconds.

How Long Does Planet Clicker 2 Take?

At a steady four clicks per second, sensible spending and no rebirths, a full run looks like this.

MilestoneRoughly
First machine13 seconds
Mars14 minutes
First Dark Matter available1 hour
Venus3 hours
First worthwhile rebirth16 hours
Jupiter1 day
Saturn3.5 days
Neptune4 days

Clicking faster moves the opening and barely touches the endgame, which is deliberate. Tapping buys your first few machines. It does not play the game for you.

Neptune is the last world and the Void Lattice is the last machine. After that the game becomes the leaderboard, the awards you have not collected, and how much Dark Matter you care to bank. For more of the same, try our best idle games like Planet Clicker roundup.

Eight Tips That Save You Hours

Read the payback time, not the price. It already accounts for what the machine produces. Buying by price alone is the most expensive habit in the game.

Recheck the shop after every batch. Prices climb as you buy, so your best value ten purchases ago has probably slipped down the order.

Save through a comet instead of clicking through it. Buy after the x7 lands and it multiplies your new production, not your old.

Prioritise the lattice. Ten levels of a multiplier on your entire empire beats any single machine on the same world.

Stand on your newest world. The x2.5 home bonus applies where you are standing.

Do not rebirth under 25 Dark Matter. Below that you lose more in machines than you gain in permanent bonus.

Close the tab, do not pause it. Closing pays you for up to twelve hours. Pause pays nothing.

Check the Awards tab before a long session. Locked awards show their conditions, and two or three are usually one short detour away.

No. There is no code box, and the server rejects edited saves by checking every score against what your production could actually have generated.

Final Thoughts

What makes Planet Clicker 2 worth a proper session is that the economy is honest. Nothing waits behind a payment, nothing sits behind a timer, and every point you spend visibly speeds up the next one.

The opening is fixed. Pick a commander name, click to 15, take the Kinetic Tap, then the Campfire at 60. After that, buy whatever pays back fastest and watch how the order shuffles as prices climb. Mars is about fifteen minutes away, and the moment you land there with four times the click power and a fresh shop of six machines, the first game will feel very small indeed.
