About Planet Clicker
Planet Clicker is an independent website built around the free browser game of the same name. You can play the game here without a download or an account, and read guides that explain how it actually works.
The site is small and focused. We cover one game properly rather than hundreds of games briefly.
What We Do
The game is an idle clicker where you generate energy, buy machines that produce it for you, and expand across the solar system. It is simple to start and surprisingly easy to play badly, which is where our guides come in.
Alongside the games, we publish informational articles covering the parts of the game that most sites either skip or get wrong.
What You Will Find Here
The games. Planet Clicker and Planet Clicker 2, both playable in your browser, free, with no sign-up.
How We Research
Every figure on this site comes from the game itself.
Upgrade prices, production rates and interface details were recorded from the shop screen rather than copied from other websites. Where we publish something worked out rather than observed, such as how long an upgrade takes to pay for itself, we show the calculation so you can check it.
Where a claim cannot be confirmed, we say so in the article rather than presenting a guess as a fact. There is a lot of inaccurate information about this game online, including guides describing features it has never had, and we would rather be useful than confident.
Independence and Accuracy
The game itself was created by an independent developer known as Coltroc. This website is a fan resource. We did not make the game and we do not represent its creator.
We are not affiliated with any other gaming website, and nobody pays us for a mention or a recommendation. All content here is written for this site.
Games change, and different versions are hosted with small modifications, so something on your screen may occasionally differ from what is written here. If you spot an error, please tell us and we will check it against the game and correct the page.
